many spills. It has been known to be one
of the only booms to survive after a
large spill. The urethane coated Kevlar
skirt is extremely strong & durable
and can be easily cleaned and reused over
& over at different spills. Mk 7 is
ideal for use in open harbors & bays. |

Mk 10

The Mk
10 shares all of the same superior
features as the Mk 7 only with a
different size float. It is typically
used in rough river and harbor
applications. Because the Kevlar is
strong enough by itself, no extra cables
or chains are required which tend to
eventually chaff through the fabric. |

abrasion & hydrocarbon resistant, the
Mk 8 is designed to be left in the water
for many years. It is typically installed

drydocks where instant spill response is

Mk 16

Combining the
durability and longevity of the rugged Mk
8 belting with Mk 10 style floats, the Mk
16 permanent boom is typically used in
areas that do not require the high
freeboard of the Mk 8, such as terminals
on rivers, piers in protected harbors,
around inland well sites, etc. |

This extra
heavy-duty permanent boom is designed to
assist in deflecting floating debris
& ice away from areas that typically
experience extreme congestion from
floating objects. The Mk DB has been
especially effective in front of fresh
water intakes to power plants, as well as
in front of sensitive pier structures. |

The Slickstop
air-inflatable boom has a patented
"Double wall" construction that
provides extra system reliability in
rough use. It utilizes high strength,
air-tight internal bladders which can be
rapidly filled as the boom comes off its
